Often coaches get caught up with the "academic" side of the methodology they have been trained in or are most familiar with. But if you lead using that language, you may turn off or confuse your prospective client. One way to merge your methodology and vocabulary with that of your niche is to ask to see non-sensitive internal documents related to their work such as an organization's leadership competency model, values, or annual report - and adjust your words to better align with how they already approach personal and professional growth.
